PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING NOTICE as per Article 13 of EU 2016/679 Regulation Pursuant to and as per Article 13 of EU 2016/679 Regulation (hereafter “GDPR”), Veronafiere S.p.A. hereby provides you with the following information about the collection, use, communication, and processing of your personal data. 1. Purposes of processing, legal basis, and terms of conservation 2.1 Your data will be processed by the Company so that you can register and take part in the “5StarWines – the Book” selection organized within the scope of the “Vinitaly” trade show as well as to complete all related procedures, including possible divulgation of your data on the Vinitaly website in the event you are the winner of the contest. The legal basis legitimizing processing is the execution of a contract involving the data subject. 2.2 Your data will also be processed to perform obligations under laws, regulations, and EU legislation. In this case, the legal basis legitimizing data processing by the Company is the need to comply with a legal obligation to which the Company itself is subject. 2.3 The data processed for the purposes indicated above will be retained for the entire duration of the Selection and, after termination, for the period indicated in Article 2.4 below. 2.4 Your data may also be processed to assert and/or defend the rights of the Company in court. In this case, the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the Company. Data will be retained for the entire duration of the dispute and until the terms for enforceability of appeals have lapsed. Once the foregoing terms of retention have elapsed, Data will be destroyed or made anonymous, in compliance with technical cancellation and backup procedures. 3. Conferment of data Providing the personal data requested in the application form is mandatory. If data is not conferred, it will not be possible to register and take part in the Selection. 4. Data recipient categories Your data may be communicated to authorities and supervisory bodies authorized to request such data, associations, or professional firms (lawyers, accountants, auditors). Data may be processed by companies that, on behalf of the Data Controller and in the role of data managers, perform processing for administrative and organizational purposes. 5. Rights of the data subject You can ask the Data Controller for access to data concerning you, their deletion, correction of inaccurate data, integration of incomplete data, limitation of processing in the instances envisaged by Article 18 of the GDPR, as well as opposition to processing for connected with your situation, in hypothesis of legitimate interest on the part of the Data Controller. If personal data processing is based on consent or the contract and is carried out using automated tools, you are entitled to receive data in a structured, commonly used and automatically readable form, as well as, if technically feasible, transmit said data to another data controller without impediments. To exercise your rights, you may contact the Data Controller by sending a written communication to the address indicated above or an e-privacy@veronafiere.it. Lastly, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority, as well as recourse to other means of protection envisaged in the applicable legislation.
